AZKiの前世（中の人）は歌手、声優として活動しているnayutaということが判明しました。

nayutaは2005年8月から葉月奈乃という名義で同人活動を行っており、2007年4月に同人活動の名義を葉月なのに変更しました。
そして2009年1月に同人活動の名義をななくさなゆに変更しました。
その後2009年4月20日にニコニコ動画で使用していたnayutaという名義に統一することを発表しました。
2005年3月21日に発売された同人ゲーム「マクスウェルの悪魔」にてオープニングの「箱の中の悪魔」、エンディングの「さいごのねがい」を担当していました。（その他の同人作品）
ニコニコ動画では2007年6月18日に「you 歌ってみた」を初投稿し活動を開始しました。170万回以上再生されており「伝説の始まり」というタグが付けられています。
アニメ「Candy boy」の主題歌を担当したりケータイ小説「君のせい」、GA文庫「神曲奏界ポリフォニカ」のCMナレーションも努めていました。
声優の平野綾（涼宮ハルヒ）の声真似が得意でニコニコ動画に投稿された「勢いで組曲『涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱』」で声真似を披露しており340万回以上再生されています。
2014年7月27日にニコニコ生放送を初めて開始しました。
2015年4月5日にはYouTubeチャンネルを開設し「[7uta.com] 想い出を綴る歌と君と。demo」を初投稿しました。
AZKiは2018年11月15日にYouTubeにて「Just Be Friends -piano.ver- 歌ってみた」を初投稿し活動を開始しましたが、nayutaも同時に継続して活動しているものの、ニコニコ生放送の頻度が2018年10月から激減していることから関連性が高いです。
nayutaは2014年に生放送を16回、2015年には生放送を22回、2016年には生放送を17回、2017年には生放送を16回、2018年には生放送を5回、2019年には生放送が2回となっています。（※2020年はYouTube LIVEが3回）

2020年1月5日には入籍し結婚したことを報告しましたが今まで通り活動は続けていくみたいです。
皆さまへ。私事で恐縮ですが、元日に入籍いたしました。
と言っても今までと変わらず、歌を歌ったり、音楽をつくったり、私の好きなことを続けていきたいと思います。

2019年頃？には棗いつき(@itsukinatsume)×藍月なくる(@Gelidium_31)×nayuta(@7utauta)の3人組ボーカルユニットLa prière（ラプリエール）が結成されました。
2019年12月31日には1stアルバム「Gemini Syndrome」が販売され2020年12月30日には2ndアルバム「Galaxy Triangle」が販売されることが決定しました。

AZKiの前世（中の人）がnayutaとわかる比較
声や話し方、歌声が完全に一致していることが確認できます。
AZKi、nayutaのどちらも作曲、編曲担当に「RD-Sounds」がみられるという共通点があります。
RD-Soundsは同人音楽サークルで東方の曲をメインに作曲していることから普通はVTuberとは関わりがないはずです。

nayuta宛のツイートを確認してみたところ誕生日は9月27日で2017年に26歳になっていたことが確認できました。
ですので生年月日は1991年9月27日で年齢は32歳ということになります。

顔出しに関してですが、普段は一切顔出ししていないですが2009年頃、声優のオーディションで審査員特別賞を入賞していたときの画像がありました。4人写っていますが一番右端です。

Recent?
She got married like two years ago, and as far as I know no one cared in the slightest.
By the way, I know she was still in school in 2009, and considering how inactive she was from October 2010 to February 2013, it’s very likely she was still in school and finished her studies in this period.
So her being from 1991 is probably wrong, and the Tweet used as a source for this information doesn’t even confirm anything, it’s literally just a random, who’s a fan of her, wondering about her age and not getting an answer.
Her old blog mentions starting university in 2010, so 1991 can’t be far off.
She was at university, so she was inactive during her sophomore and senior years, same as Haachama pretty much.
That would make 1991 line up perfectly.

Thanks for this. I’ve been a fan of Nayuta for just over a decade, and joined the Hololive fandom because I recognized AZKi’s voice from her past work. Lot of people I know aren’t big fans of AZKi until they realize they listen to her old NND covers or Touhou songs, they just don’t know it was her.
I have a few other notes:
Nayuta/AZKi has a full-time office job in addition to her music/vtuber work. This is likely why she doesn’t stream regularly, and most of her streams fall on weekends or JP public holidays.
If you follow her twitter closely, Nayuta seemed really unhappy at her day job around 2021, the same timing window when AZKi was considering graduation. AZKi also released the original song 最強×最弱ガール during this period (MV feels like it was hinting at something). Nayuta mentions transferring to a department with better work-life balance in Jan 2022, and AZKi’s hololive transfer wasn’t finally confirmed until Q1 2022.
AZKi in Japanese is pronounced あずき which could be a play on the surname of her original moniker, Hazuki Nano. Since Nayuta was 14 at the time, it’s also possible she used her real name. The name “AZKi” could be a failsafe in case it is accidentally mentioned on stream: 葉月ちゃん (“Hazuki-chan”) could be pretended to be あずきちゃん (“Azuki-chan”).

Furthermore the tweet description has the hashtag #TIF2016 which stands for Tokyo Idol Festival 2016, and if you look at other photos in the tag, you’ll notice the performers were wearing red shirts. So it is possible Nayuta did some idol work long ago.
That girl is not her, there is no way she’d be taking pictures with random people, also, she stopped using that name long before that, and if you search for “葉月” in that guy’s Twitter he mentions an idol called Hazuki Sakamoto (坂元葉月) who happens to be in this event, I don’t think that’s her in the picture with him, but that’s the Hazuki he’s talking about, he even tweeted about her around the time of this picture.
Also, while it’s possible that AZKi is based on Hazuki, that’s also not her name.
Hazuki (葉月) = 8月 (August), Month of the start of her activities.
Nano (奈乃/なの) = Because of her short stature, 140~149cm.
She has an amazing voice

IRyS streams way more than AZKi, if she started working on her Namirin persona again, she’d probably overwork herself. I’d rather have her stream than do more singing. She puts out a lot under IRyS already.
