I grew up in very close proximity to where Gura grew up and this was very apparent to me even before I saw the info from anons digging up facebook posts. Her accent and her jokes were enough. I watched her from the beginning and could tell she was like me, she sounded like someone I knew, hell maybe I did. She sounded more familiar the more I listened. I started to feel more attached to this 2D sharkgirl and I watched all her streams. I started to think she was just like me in girl form and that I wanted to be closer to her. I fantasized about sending her an akasupa expressing how much she meant to me and how I was a long term fan and that I loved her. But that’s when I stopped and thought wow I actually do feel very attached and maybe got to the point of love being true. But it’s not and it wont ever be, she’s a streamer and I’m some rando no matter if I actually knew real life Gura or not.
