I listened to a little bit of Vox’s librarian ASMR, and the desire for Ike to do something involving petplay is stronger than ever. I know he isn’t interested in ASMR roleplay, spicy or otherwise, and that’s fine, he has his boundaries, I respect that. But, god, if the dream still isn’t there… I like his voice a lot more than Vox’s (just personal preference), and imagining him saying all sorts of dirty things – it doesn’t have to be limited to petplay – is making me feel weak in the knees. Those moments in the Halloween zatsu where he (as Eki) says, “You just place your hand on their head, firmly grasp, make them kneel down and sit in seiza… and then you just put a collar around them and lock them on a leash. Then you know exactly where you have them, and you can get them to do anything you want,” “Ike doesn’t have a pet, therefore I don’t have a pet. …unless you’re offering,” and that scolding voice he used a couple weeks ago where he ended it with, “That’s more like it. Look how energetic you got all of a sudden… good girl.” I just know he’d be so good at whatever he had planned and the thought of it makes me melt.
Though, speaking of Eki, I know he’s sorta become Ike’s way of indulging chat in their down bad behavior, and thus can say a lot more sussy stuff, while I get why and I do think Eki’s hot, if Ike ever did do anything sussy like RP ASMR, I’d want it to be as himself. He can just be himself and I’d still find him just as attractive and be just as down bad for. If it involves Eki, that’s fine, but Ike’s the main reason I’m here, y’know.

Yes, he still plans on doing ASMR content. It’s been a process for him, but he’s determined to get it fixed. He’ll most likely try it out in a members-only stream before actually using it in a proper public one.

I know some people here avoid or don’t watch the valo streams but if you’re gonna watch one watch todays bc it was so much fun to watch! The boi has improved so much and it really seemed like he was enjoying himself more rather than malding over his mistakes. So uh I’m not sure if I’m just reaching way too far but the way Mysta and Ike commented on the entire AR live cancelled thingy seemed a little suspicious. Not sure if it’s just me (it probably is) but still maybe it’s the way they wrote “Covid. Alright then, sure.” and “Covid huh? Hmm alright” but it seems like there might be some behind the scenes stuff that played a big part.
I honestly think it’s also a mangement thing rather than just a COVID thing. That fact that they just announced it recently, started selling tickets 2 months in advance when only two of the gens have actually gone to record things and now they decided to cancel it so soon? Honestly feels like they jumped to the gun to quick, things didn’t work out or started to get messy behind the scenes and now they’re trying to back track. Meanwhile the livers have been working hard, stressed out to the point of getting sick or crying from stress and now they don’t even know when or if the live will still happen. Honestly I would be passive aggressive too if I was them. Like I know things happen but anycol hasn’t been the best at handeling things and this is certainly one of them. We don’t know what exactly happened but at this point a lot of us are sure it’s simply just COVID.
it’s just my guess but i feel like management had been rushing them to meet the unreasonable deadline (hence the stress and being busy) and recently realize it’s not gonna work out, so that leads to the cancelation
I think this cancellation will probably lead to a bit of reputation loss from NijiEN, not to say it’s the talents fault, I’m not blaming it on them, but it’s more the staff.
The staff had great ambitions, I’m sure of it. But in the end, something (Or someone?) broke down and the plans ended in chaos and had to (possibly) make up an excuse and suddenly cancel the show, while leaving the fact that the groups were exhausted from hell to back, some even salty as evident by most of Luxiem’s tweets.
I do think some people will start hating NijiEN just because of the postponement/cancellation, possibly start blaming the talents as well (Cause we know how NijiEN’s fandom works! They love to misblame people!), and while I don’t think it’ll be as big of a rep loss as say a few of their last controversies, but I do think it’ll make a dent in their rep, plus the fact that they already had drama in the last few days in the form of the ‘secret chat’ stream and Hex… yeah.

I tried to watch the Da Capo anime a very long time ago since they had a reference to it in Lucky Star and just remember thinking it was boring. I liked AIR, Kanon, and CLANNAD which were also anime adaptations of romance VNs so I don’t know why Da Capo in particular was so forgettable to me. Don’t know whether it was the fault of the anime adaptation or not. So when Ike goes on about how he loved Da Capo so much I’m like… was it really that good?
On the other hand, my first VN was Umineko which was incredible. Ike has it on his debut favorites but I think he still hasn’t finished it. Really wish that he would one day.

I want them to play Overwatch again so badly. I know Ike doesn’t like the game, but they bounce off each other so well. Selen always has some sort of comeback to Ike’s sassy comments, and they both aren’t afraid to tease each other, without it going overboard. And Selen’s genuinely very supportive, like it isn’t just all snark and banter, she was cheering him on when he tried his best playing. Even outside of gaming, I just love their dynamic LOL

That sounds like it would be such a fun idea, but I’m not sure of a game Selen hates but Ike’s good at. I wish they had the perms for Halo, I’m not sure if she dislikes the series or has played before, but I feel like her and Ike playing one of the earlier Halo games together would be a riot. He seems to really love the series, and I couldn’t think of a better person to play it with than Selen.

Whenever somebody plays Jump King and they’re in an open VC, you can bet on Ike being there, either in their chat or in VC. I remember when Aster was playing Jump King and was still streaming when Ike ended one of his streams, and people went to watch Aster because they knew he would jump right after. It’s so funny, but also cute how he still encourages people to keep going.
