日本に興味を持ったきっかけは母親がハマっていたテイルズというゲームをプレイしたことがきっかけでゲーム以外のアニメや漫画も好きになりました。
2010年1月1日に「【ケーキ姫】初めてを経験中を踊ってみた」をニコニコ動画にて初めて投稿し踊り手として活動を開始しました。一度動画が削除されましたが2013年12月13日に再アップロードされました。
2010年から2014年までニコニコ動画やYouTubeには多数の踊ってみた動画が投稿されています。
2010年8月8日にニコ生を初めて主に雑談や凸待ち、コスプレを披露する配信をしていました。
2012年にはケーキ姫☆優海、嘉山璃子（Riko）、沙倉香奈（カナピー）の3人組アイドルユニット「トーンジュエル」が結成されました。
ビクターエンタテインメントに所属し同年8月にメジャーデビューしましたが2013年11月29日に卒業しました。

ケーキ姫は2021年7月21日（日本時間）に誕生日配信「【Birthday Stream!】first ever stream on youtube!?」を行いました。
配信中の発言で「みんなどんなケーキがすきー？キアラ…（目を見開く）ケーキは…ｗｗケーキ姫は‥ｗｗｗ」という自身の名前を言い間違えました。
本配信では58:45~付近から言い間違えていたのですが不自然にカットされていることが確認出来ます。ちなみに切り抜き動画が存在していましたが著作権侵害の申し立てがあったため削除されています。
一人称が「私」ではなく自分の名前で呼ぶからこそのミスですね。

My first post was the second one. I wasn’t necessarily targeting Kiara, more just women in general. However, 27 is still old enough, many of her prime reproductive years are already gone forever, and the earlier a woman had kids generally the healthier the child ends up.
None of this is a knock on women. These are biological facts. Facts that help us continue a healthy species. Taking offense to it because it’s uncomfortable is counter-productive, and some might even say, malicious.
Read the statistics, very few women have kids before thirty these days. There’s actual somewhat of a stigma around it, especially in Japan. You’re not considered financially or emotionally stable enough before you hit twenty eight, at least.
A somewhat minor drop in fertility rates between 25 and 35 is really a non-factor compared to every other consideration revolving around having a child. It’s a difference between an average 20% chance of conception after three months for a twenty five year old, and a 12% chance for a thirty five year old.
Anyway I’m reasonably certain a good proportion of Hololive talents over thirty have kids, I’m very hopeful Kiara will (and share cute baby pictures), and it’s not really her career stopping her. In fact I’m fairly sure her career has made the possibility more likely, she’s certainly got the money to support a family now.
I would argue the stigma is purposeful to keep women in the workforce longer as a taxable bracket, instead of staying home and raising kids. In no proper medical textbook will you ever find any endorsement of pregnancy past the point where high risk pregnancy is the default.
Do note that ‘high risk pregnancy’ at 35 stands even if the woman is 100% healthy. If she is a diabetic, has high blood pressure, is immunodepressed, obese, an alcoholic, a long-time junkie or anything on top of being 35 years of age, you will find no reputable practitioner or medical textbook that would endorse such a thing.
