While I agree, I don’t know if they actually got permission from Niji to officially go on vacation for 2 weeks (with the exception of Oliver. He’s actually on vacation). It sounded like a hangout with some streaming, as long as they fulfill their minimum of 3 streams a week quota.

I think auditioning is a long process… there is more than one stage and when people are decided, they’ll probably wait for them to prepare and decide the best moment for them to debut
iirc niji has 3 audition stages and they still gotta get their avatars designed and rigged and set up their lore videos and all that. it’s gonna take a bit. rigging Live2D avatars is not an easy process

Idk if they get to choose their characters or not, but you can’t deny that their voices are a perfect match to their characters, like if they really designed the characters first and chose voices based on it then they did a hella good job every time.
But I remember some members saying they worked for their debut for around 3/4 months, and that sounds like a time that involves rigging as well so you never know.
There’s a youtuber that make a video about goin to nijisanji/anycolor office and interviewing the staff there. Its not quite informative and amateurish but its something. In that video it is explained that a model is already pre-rig and ready to use. The staff then choose a talent (audition) to fit the character. I assuming if theres no talent that fit the character, the model will get scr**ed just like what Cover did.
The reason why the pre-debut takes months is because of lore, song recording and their stream settings (bgm, overlays, notifs, emote, etc)
I assumed the sixth wave would debut around September, and in December they would hold auditions for the seventh wave.

here’s how I think the mysta/nina thing happened: She wanted boys to leech out of, so when luxiem debuted she did just that. Mysta always has been not very well mentally and needed someone to be his close friend/listen to him, and nina saw this golden oportunity and latched to him as soon as possible. So, he gets a friend, while she gets numbers because he’s the most popular luxiem boy.
Nina and Mika are the one who chase after mysta, i think mysta said it himself that they were the ones who willing to go after him because they’re extroverts. Mysta is the kind of person who wont try to be friend or talk with you first.
Imagine how different everything would be if they hadn’t actually reached out to him first. Nothing would be that different but there’d be less drama I guess.
Okay, I’ll try to be as impartial as possible. I don’t think Nina is a bad person. I see she has flaws and I admit they might be too much at times. I think they like her because she portraits herself as mother figure, like a good friend to the point she’ll go out of her way to help you, support you and love you like a mother would.
I actually have a childhood friend that I’m noticing that looks a lot like her. She also always wants everything her way, she’s pushy, she likes all the attention on her but won’t admit it, she kinda demands people to do everything for her in return too and it’s really difficult to have an argument because she won’t admit she’s wrong… and like Nina, she likes to portrait herself as a mother figure too. I got engaged to watch niji en since ethyria debuted (exactly bcs of Phasmophobia clip) and the mommy rp with other ethyria girls being siblings was hilarious af but since the boys debuted and revealed her true nature of favoritism, milking the role to the point that it becomes cringe (srsly if the rp doesn’t involve babying it might be still tolerable), making another member uncomfortable with her words, etc. I began to leave her.
I used to like her power washing streams, because they were usually chaotic/fun. Then she started talking about other members dms and stuff I felt so excluded from the conversation and I stopped watching her. At least when other EN members talk about their dms they at least give context on stream/tell us what meme they’re laughing at. She wasn’t my oshi or anything but man I feel bad for those who actually like her toxicity.
I honestly like her, but I’m starting to see some behaviors that bothered me a lot in my best childhood friend and we had a big fight and spent 2 to 3 years without even speaking to each other and only now we’re talking a little again… but still, I don’t think she’s a bad person.

Back in Apirl, I quitted watching her streams because of that ‘niji drama’ during her minecraft stream. At that time the fans around me said I am oversensitive and that whole thing is just a joke. So I had another try for her streams, but I just couldn’t do it. Coming back here after a month, I am glad that I have made a correct decision.

Alban was a little bit nervous and tweeted an apology (which was deleted now). Then pomu appeared in nina’s chat advertising her guerilla mc stream. Nina said she is going to report to the manager, and using a Karen tune at that time. Happened around 4th hr of that stream, you can seaech for timestamps.
Yea and of course, this was just a joke and they weren’t serious. But I just felt really uncomfortable. And we can tell that other en members weren’t ready for this ‘drama’ (Alban literally tweeted an apology for Pomu).
